Governor Ahmad Aliyu commissioned the 14.4km Buzulega–Lukuwa–Yargada–Malikawa rural road project, valued at ₦4.16 billion, under the RAAMP initiative — a strategic link connecting Gwadabawa, Kware, and Wurno LGAs to enhance rural accessibility, trade, and agricultural productivity.
I sincerely appreciate Navy Capt. Abdul Rashid Adisa Raji (Rtd) for graciously commissioning the project, and I extend profound gratitude to His Eminence, Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Dep. Gov. Engr. Idris Gobir, and other distinguished guests for their presence and support.
Our administration remains steadfast in its resolve to transform Sokoto’s infrastructure landscape through meaningful partnerships with the World Bank, the Federal and French Governments. Together, we are paving the path toward a more connected, prosperous, and inclusive Sokoto State. -AAS
